1:1 Coaching
Personal running support for people 40+ who want consistency, strength, and a plan that fits real life.
If you’ve been thinking about running again,
but haven’t found a way to stay consistent,
this may be the step that makes it simpler.
Not a push. Not a perfect plan.
A clear way to make running work in your life as it is now.
Why this exists
Most people don’t struggle to start. They struggle to keep going.
You begin with good intentions. A plan, or at least an idea.
But then life gets in the way.
Work stretches longer than expected. Energy is lower than you thought.
A few days pass… then a week… then more.
And you end up feeling like you have to start over again.
Not because you lack discipline. But because what you tried didn’t fit your life.
At some point, more information is not the answer.
Sure that having a plan helps.
But having support, accountability, and something shaped around your life makes the difference.
Because some people do not want more free content.
Another newsletter.
Another small product.
Some people want clarity.
Accountability.
A human guide.
A plan that fits their life.
That is what coaching is for.
A simpler way to approach running
This is not about doing more.
It’s about finding a way to keep going.
Instead of chasing motivation, we create a structure you can return to.
Even when time is limited and energy is low.
We focus on consistency, not intensity. On rhythm, not perfect weeks.
And over time, you build a way of running that fits your schedule, your energy, and your real life.
This is not generic online coaching.
This is coaching for people who want running to fit their life, not take it over.
What changes when it works
When this starts working, things become clearer.
- You stop guessing what to do each week.
- You know how to adjust without disappearing for ten days.
- You stop treating every disrupted week like failure.
- You keep a rhythm, even when life is not ideal.
And instead of starting over again and again, you begin to build a rhythm you can rely on.
Not perfectly every week, but consistently over time.
This is for you if
This is for you if you’ve been thinking about running, or trying to come back to it, but haven’t been able to stay consistent.
You start with good intentions, but life gets in the way, and the routine fades.
You do not need more pressure. You need a way to make running fit into your life as it is now.
If you’re over 40, unsure if running is still for you, but feel it could help you physically and mentally.
And this is especially for you if you do not need more ideas. You need support, adjustment, and accountability.
You don’t need to think about pace, distance, or racing right now. What matters first is building something that works. And that lasts.
This might not be for you
If your main focus is
performance,
speed,
or competition,
this will not be the right fit.
If you’re looking to
push harder,
do more,
or follow a demanding training plan,
there are many good approaches for that.
This is not one of them.
This is built for something simpler, and more sustainable.
A way to run that fits into your life as it is now,
and that you can keep over time.
How it works
01. You tell me where you are
We start with a short questionnaire.
Just enough to understand where you are, what your experience has been, and what you’re trying to move toward.
02. We find a starting point
Then we have a 1:1 call.
Not a formal assessment. Just a clear conversation to find a starting point that makes sense.
03. You get a simple weekly plan
From there, you receive a simple running plan, with both running and simple strength work each week.
Because running alone is often not enough to stay strong and consistent over time, especially after 40.
It’s not rigid or demanding, just a structure you can actually follow.
04. We adjust as you go
Each week, you share how it went: what felt easy, what felt difficult, what didn’t happen.
And based on that, we refine the next step.
You’re not doing this alone
One of the biggest reasons people stop running is not lack of ability.
It’s lack of support.
Here, there is a rhythm.
You check in.
I respond.
We adjust.
You keep moving forward.
Simple.
Your plan includes both running and simple strength work each week, so your body stays supported as you build consistency over time.
And if you need help with practical decisions, I can also guide you there.
Choosing the right shoes, keeping your gear minimal, and understanding how to fuel and hydrate your runs.
Nothing complicated. Just what you actually need.
A note on time
This is not a quick fix.
Most meaningful change does not happen in a few weeks.
It takes time to build something that lasts.
That is why this is designed as a longer-term process.
Not intense.
Not overwhelming.
Just steady.
But if you already know that starting over on your own is not working,
→ there is value in changing that now.
